Ecology and Conservation of Streams and Rivers
During the Spring semester in 2020 I TA'd for the masters-level course Ecology and Conservation of Streams and Rivers. Though the course was significantly disrupted midway through because of the pandemic, I was able to lead the class through several lab sessions using various computer-based tools before the course moved online. Once the course moved online, the laboratory components of the class were dropped for simplicity's sake. The sections I led used Excel and R-Shiny based tools to develop Indexes of Biological Integrity, and to model effects of management strategies for conservation of endangered fish species.
